Skagit County Search and Rescue is made up of specialized units, each standing by ready to search, rescue and/or recover 24/7 when called.

Our SAR members are volunteers who give of their time and train according to specific standards.

We appreciate the support of our community! And welcome new member inquiries and appreciate your donations!

Skagit Search & Rescue Council is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer organization. While the Council does not participate directly in the search and rescue field work, we do facilitate communications with other SAR related agencies and entities; accept donations and distribute funding to Skagit SAR member units; and provide training opportunities to member units.
